...to blog about this family today.

Last Sunday I was lucky to catch this family just. in. time. We trekked out that morning at 7:00am because these kiddos daddy, Robert, is in the Navy and left that day and will be gone for 5 whole months. I had to take this pictures.

You can tell from every picture how much this family loves each other. Even the kids were exceptionally kind to one another.

Hope these pictures make the next 5 months a little more bearable. :)

This is the first photo shoot I have done at Rice University, and I am hooked! I actually had my bridals taken there about 7 years ago and had completely forgotten how beautiful it is.

Maxwell's- yall all have g-r-e-a-t smiles! So natural and fun- and can you believe the amazing red hair on the little one? Heartbreaker. :)

This is my friend Jessica.

She is one of my closest friends and has been for what seems like forever now. We have worked together, had our first babies within 3 months of each other, and stayed the best of friends. And now she's gone and done it. She's gotten ahead of the game and is 35 weeks pregnant with a sweet baby girl.

Jess- I can't wait to take pictures of sweet little Avery. You already have a beautiful family- I can't wait to see a baby girl with your huge gorgeous eyes! :)

Also. You have ridiculously perfect skin!! And look at that sass. You can't teach that kind of sass.

Hillarie- you have the best skin EVER! Seriously, I kept zooming in on each picture in disbelief. I was so glad Hillarie's boyfriend Blake was able to accompany us- I got some great laughing pictures because she couldn't keep a straight face :)

Pearland Texas Newborn Photographer; Baby Gage

So, throughout this photo shoot I couldn't help but wonder if Anne Geddes gets as giddy at every newborn shoot as I do?? I swear, if I was going to specialize in anything, it would be Newborn photography (good thing I love every other type of session, too!). There is nothing more sweet, precious, or completely fresh from God as a newborn baby.

And Gage? He was born to model (probably got his skills from his Momma!). He slept almost the whole time, minus a couple of breaks for feedings, until he was ready to throw in the towel.

Pearland Texas Newborn Photographer; Little Liam!

I have been SO blessed with the sweetest, cutest little newborn boys a photographer could ask for! Liam is completely perfect. And, he wins the record for the most poops in one session! Ha! I have never been more thankful for the strong stomach God gave me, because baby poop/pee doesn't bother me a bit. It's a part of the process, and I expect it!

It does, however, make me giggle uncontrollably. :)
