Pearland Texas Family Photographer; New Product: The 5x7 Proof Book!

I am SO excited to be trying out all of these new products I am going to be offering as a part of my business come May- here is the first I get to introduce you to!

5x7 Proof Book, meet *insert your name here*

I opted to make my cover page a letter to Lorelai as this is the only way I am capable of "scrapbooking" at the moment :) That won't be an option available, but I just wanted you to get a good luck at the front. You can't see it in this picture (or close up, really) but there is a clear frosted cover to protect the first image. You can get it without the frost, also.
Some other options available: white or black border (white border is pictured) with a thin black border framing the picture (also shown here). I chose to have mine bound on the short side, but you also have the option to have the binding on the long side; Binding can be black or white (white is pictured).
I really, really love this book!
I know we live in the age of technology, and while I still highly recommend getting a high resolution CD of all of your images for the future, it is so great to able to carry this around and flip through every picture from this photo shoot. I try to keep it with me at all times, so if you want to see it in person, just ask!

Be on the lookout for more new products!

Pearland Texas Lifestyle Photographer; Maternity; Family

I have now blogged three days in a row! Don't get use to it, people- I have no idea what is making me so efficient!

Let me intro this session by telling you the first thing my friend Yamelis said to me when we got out of the car. "I have been having contractions and could be in labor, but I WANT these pictures so let's get going!" LOL! My jaw dropped and every five minutes I would ask her if she was okay (all the while still making her sit on the ground and change positions for the lighting :). Turns out, she was not in labor (she is, in fact, still pregnant!) but my heart was beating so fast trying to remember everything I should be doing while worrying about poor Yamelis.
We initially had to reschedule this session a couple of times due to bad weather, but it is a good thing we waited. The lighting that evening was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Yamelis- not a soul in the world could guess you are so far along that you could possibly be in labor. You are so tiny and beautiful, and yall rocked this session! Hope you enjoy!

Sweet Momma and Noah...
SO handsome!
Family Kiss! This cracked me up! How sweet is that?!
I love the expression on his face...

Quick Note!

Hey everyone!
If you haven't read my previous post- read it real fast. Go ahead....don't be shy now.
Also- just wanted to drop in and say that I have made a few changes/updates to my price list.
If you have a session booked (and by "booked", I mean that we have nailed down a date and it is in my calendar- not just discussed it) as of right now, the price list I gave you when you booked the session is what we will refer to.
Any sessions booked from here on out will be based on the updated price list.

I also want everyone to make a little note that there will be a price increase around May 1st.
I have learned SOOOOO much over the past year and a half and have gained a lot of experience. I hope everyone will stay on board with me while I make these necessary changes. I am also working on my "branding". I hope to have business cards printed and a new website up by May!

This is a very exciting time for me- I LOVE what I do and am excited to be able to provide the best service possible. Over the next month I am going to be debuting different products I am going to be offering and some of the updates to products I have been offering for a while!

And, just because I love her.....

Shout Out!

I am constantly reminded of the wonderful friends God has surrounded me with. One sweet friend who a lot of you (but not all of you) know is Lindsay Harrell. Lindsay is a fantastic photographer and has one of the sweetest, kindest hearts I know- so I think it's only natural that she's taken up Birth Photography. Now lets all be mature here....before you cringe or get weirded out- check out her website. It is beautiful. Powerful. Amazing. She catches those unforgettable first moments where you get to see your baby for the very first time. First kiss. First embrace. First moment of overwhelming love.
If you are interested or know anyone who might be interested in Birth Photography- have them check out her website HERE and give her a call or shoot her an e-mail.
And then have them call me for their maternity and newborn pictures. :)
